Aarohi’s leadership journey is grounded in empathy, advocacy, and a deep commitment to uplifting vulnerable communities. As a volunteer coach for Special Olympics Australia, Aarohi provided individuals with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to excel in track running. Inspired by a young athlete’s connection to the movie Forrest Gump, Aarohi learned the importance of being a relatable role model. Her involvement in the Northern Beaches Youth Council, Sydney-wide working groups, and roles as SRC and House Captain has allowed her to showcase collaboration and advocacy skills at both school and state-wide levels. Through her participation in the Australian Defence Force Cadets, Aarohi’s belief in purpose-driven leadership was further solidified, reinforcing her desire to create tangible change. Aarohi’s extensive volunteering and extracurricular involvement demonstrate her passion for being a voice for those who may not have one, ensuring that their needs and opinions are represented.
