Michelle leads a highly successful in-house entrepreneurial STEM-based Program for Year 10 students called i3 (interdisciplinary intelligence and innovation). The program is in its 6th year, and has had over 1100 students undertake it with nearly 500 industry mentors, guest speakers and judges volunteer so far.

i3 is built on a foundation of partnerships and relationships with over 50 different industry partners. These industry connections underpin the program making it the success that it is. Michelle was inspired to develop a new program after an elective called “Creating Apps” took her to Silicon Valley with a small group of students. It was a key trigger in developing a compulsory program and bringing cutting edge STEM leaders and industry into her school.

Michelle's vision extends beyond the immediate success of the program. She aspires to create a comprehensive system that will have a positive and enduring impact on future generations. This system aims to seamlessly support students as they transition from school to further education and ultimately into the workplace, equipping them with the skills and knowledge they need for a successful future.
