Palash Punde

Palash is the founder of Aquacomix, a small business based in Brisbane with a compelling mission. Aquacomix specialises in crafting and selling comics, games, and activities tailored to educate young audiences about marine life. Palash's profound love for the ocean and a deep concern about the lack of awareness regarding its magnificent inhabitants and the imminent threats they face served as the driving force behind the creation of Aquacomix in 2021. Since its inception, Aquacomix has successfully sold nearly 100 comics at a variety of events and market stalls. In addition to comics, they have expanded to include games, activity kits, and even launched a YouTube channel. Aquacomix is partnering with Logan City Council to deliver a school holiday program, furthering their impact and educational reach. Palash’s dedication to marine conservation has also garnered recognition in the newsletter of THECA, an esteemed organisation based in Brisbane. Palash has completed a business course at the Australian School of Entrepreneurship (ASE) and was honoured as a guest and stall vendor at the esteemed Young Entrepreneur Summit (YES) in 2022. What truly distinguishes Aquacomix is its singular focus on marine life advocacy. While drawing inspiration from Marvel and DC comics, Palash is resolutely committed to promoting the wonders of the ocean and providing educational resources that shed light on its remarkable biodiversity.
